Auntie Vera has always been a part of my life. We lived close in the same road as Burlington Villa. Vera was a great friend to my mum (Joan Harvey) and they shared laughs and woes over many a cuppa. We played with Richard & Robert often and have wonderful memories. Vera also became Godmother to my younger brother Richard, so truly became family. Even though I have left Swanmore & the UK my visits home have often included a visit to Auntie Vera and a cuppa to reminisce over past times. Her cheeky laugh and sense of humour has always been there. She will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish my sincere love and condolences to Richard and his family.
